چکیده
Abstract. Soil and water-efficient management are key factors in ensuring the olive sector's sustainable production practices. The use of compost based on waste (alperujo) as fertilizer could enhance ecosystem services while need to transition a zero-waste approach circular economy is achieved. present work includes comparative study effect alperujo (AC) vs. inorganic fertilization under different systems: traditional adult grove rainfed conditions young hedgerow system, which factorial test tree irrigation regimes (full, deficit no irrigation) implemented well. At plots, addition AC soil sampling time greatly impacted chemical parameters and, lesser extent, enzymatic activities, whereas did not exert marked influence. In proved be an efficient tool for carbon sequestration. first revealed clear stoichiometric relationship between organic matter (SOM) nitrogen, phosphorus potassium (NPK) contents both systems, correlations were weak scarce second at plots. This fact was related decay effect. Compost combination with tended trigger certain priming native SOM since stocks reduced 6 % 38 from one other depending intensity. However, caused less intense reduction essential nutrients representing best alternative maximizing agronomic effects water-saving strategy. Recurrent application would necessary maintain quality, especially high densities. combined toward water conservation

A comparison of the hydrology of moorland under natural conditions, agricultural use and forestry
Long term research has been conducted into the hydrological effects of different land usage of a wetland mire in southern Germany. Drainage for agriculture lowered the water table and reduced evaporation from about 110% of open water losses to just under the Penman short grass potential rate. The runoff regime was altered and peak flows increased. Afforestation of agricultural land increased ev...
متن کاملa comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection
supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

We present a new theory that shows that two images of the same object taken under two different light directions can be made virtually identical by filtering each image by a directional derivative filter. The direction and magnitude of the derivative is generally different for each image, and depends on illumination directions used. The method requires the object surface to be of uniform Lamber...

Field experiments were conducted in 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 and the data were used tocalibrate and validate yield and biomass of AquaCrop Model for canola (Brassica napus l.). Themodel was calibrated with the first year and then was validated with the second year data. Fivewater stress treatments at different growth stages were performed including fully irrigatedduring whole growing period (I1)...
متن کاملDeveloping a soil quality index to compare soil fitness for agricultural use under different managements in the Mediterranean environment
Due to increasing land-use pressures, soil-quality assessment is in growing demand, thus a standard set of procedures to assign a soil quality index (SQI) would be beneficial. In this study, the effectiveness of different managements in upholding soil quality (for crop productivity) was compared using soil quality indicators incorporated systematically to determine a SQI. The managements includ...
